IPRT to Publish a Handbook for Somaliland Journalists

As a part of its initiative to promote accountability and professional standards in journalism, IPRT supported by the British Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in collaboration with Media & Democracy Group to publish a hand book for the Somaliland journalists.

IPRT organized a meeting for the senior Somaliland journalist who in their turn made comments for the upcoming handbook, expressed how it will help in taking Somaliland professional journalism into new frontiers.

The book was translated into Somali and originally written in English by Doug Rushton of Media & Democracy Group.

This is an important guide to basic methods and techniques of reporting, news gathering and etc.
