10 July 2002 Graduation Ceremony
Two decades of
war in Somaliland have deprived many young people all opportunities
for formal education. To remedy this enormous problem the Institute
has now started a skills training program aimed at the youth. IPRT
now teaches classes in Accounting, Management, English language and
Computer Applications. Courses taught in this program are all
designed to give young generations practical skills needed to seek
gainful employment or further education.
The Institute
is pleased to announce that on 10 July 2002 the first class of 25
students graduated from a six-month long computer applications
program. These students received diplomas in word processing,
accounting and data management programs. We wish them all well. |
